Always do the same regular checks for pavement damage, scratches, and dents on the body and paint, just as you would with any other used car purchase. Also the interior to detect any symptoms of stains on pets and seat covers.
When we used a Kamiq for the long haul, the infotainment formula was criticized for failing. A similar formula in Scala, we also tried to fix some issues and required an update, so make sure the formula is running the newest software.
There have been two recalls related to the emergency call formula, which sends an SOS signal to the emergency service when the “SOS” button is pressed or when the formula deems it mandatory (e. g. when airbags deploy in a collision). However, a software factor in samples taken between July 10, 2019 and February 7, 2020 could prevent the formula from working well and would require an update at a Skoda dealership.
In addition to this, some Kamiqs manufactured between August 27 and September 17, 2019 will need to replace the Online Connectivity Unit (OCU) that is a component of this feature as a component of the current retirement.

A total of 43 percent of Skoda Kamiq examples feature consistent issues, mainly due to engine, exhaust or navigation/infotainment issues. Skoda paid for 93 per cent of the repairs, and those who had to pay didn’t want to find more than £50 by default. However, only 22% of the cars were repaired within a day and 35% were out of service for more than a week.
