The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition is the latest arrival at today’s big Xiaomi event. This is the most sensible part of a series that began at the end of 2023.
The functionality-focused device includes a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ with 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of physical RAM. The internal high RPM processor can boost the functionality of its Cortex-X4 core up to 3. 4 GHz.
The Dimensity 9300 comes with a special D1 discrete graphics chip. It is a 12nm demo chip that supports 3x upscaling up to “1. 5K resolution” (1080p playback) for playing content at 144Hz. The chip is said to reduce gaming power consumption by almost 15%.
Then there is the special three-dimensional cooling chamber, which can raise the temperature by up to 3°.
The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition’s frame is held up by a steel frame, while Xiaomi has used its Longjing glass for the front and back for the first time. The K70 Extreme Edition is also IP68 rated.
The phone is built around a 6. 67-inch, 2712 x 1220 pixel, 144Hz OLED display, with 1600 nits of nominal brightness and 4000 nits of peak brightness. It has a normal touch sampling rate of 480 Hz and an instant touch sampling rate of 2160 Hz. . Finally, the panel has a PWM dimming of 3840 Hz.
On the back, there is a 50MP 1/1. 56″ IMX906 camera made by Sony, an 8MP ultra-wide angle and a 2MP macro camera. On the front there is a 20MP selfie camera.
The K70 Extreme Edition is powered by a 5500mAh battery with 120W support. A Xiaomi Pengpai P2 chip monitors charging, while a G1 chip protects battery health.
