RAC’s used car portal will be relaunched later this year after the company signed a five-year deal with Heyautomobile.
The online marketplace for new and used cars will take over RAC Cars from June, when a new logo will be launched.
Employers say the platform will take advantage of “feature parity” with Heyautomobile’s own site, giving car shops a “fantastic showcase” for their vehicles.
The updated offering is expected to have a ripple effect for RAC Approved Dealer, the company’s 1,400-dealer organization operated in partnership with Assurant.
Commenting on the latest news, Lee Coomber, Director of RAC at Assurant, said: “Many of our dealers use RAC Cars extensively to advertise their cars and this is the key to our proposition.
“This agreement with Heycar will provide them with a new market direction. “
