Another SUV with Queen Elizabeth II’s royal taste is up for grabs.
The vanquished monarch’s 2016 Range Rover went on sale at Bramley Motor Cars in the UK, just 3 months after its 2004 example was auctioned off at Iconic Auctioneers.

The Range Rover 4. 4 SDV8 Autobiography LWB, which was part of the Royal Household fleet in 2016 and 2017, was driven by the sovereign herself and has appeared at many high-profile royal events. Prince Philip drove former President Barack Obama and his wife. Michelle from the airport to Windsor Castle, a state stopover in April 2016, for example.
“This could conceivably be one of the few events in which President Obama would have ridden in a vehicle other than one of his heavily armored presidential limousines,” Bramley said in a statement.
The majestic SUV was ready at Land Rover’s workshop in Gaydon and was originally supplied with special features for Her Majesty, according to Bramley. Most of those elements, such as the unobtrusive lighting and constant-looking steps, were removed after the vehicle left the Royal Household. However, the handles used on the Queen and the caution sticker for the siren in the engine compartment remain intact, adding a nostalgic touch to the ride.
Aesthetically, the structure is finished in dark sapphire blue, while the cabin is clad in ivory leather. Under the hood is a 4. 4-liter V8 engine. The 4×4 also appears to be in good shape, with just 18,206 miles on the clock and two under its belt. (Both reviews in 2016 and 2017 were conducted through Jaguar Land Rover, not Land Rover’s network of intermediaries. )The car has also had only two owners: one was a former visitor to car brokerages and the other was a local guy.
Price-wise, the Range Rover is priced at £224,850 (around $285,000). A new style costs about a fraction of that price, starting at just under £100,000 ($126,500). The actual provenance obviously comes at a premium. The Queen’s 2016 Range Rover ended up touting for £132,750 ($168,166) last November at Iconic Auctioneers. An extra hundred thousand dollars to travel as a blue blood turns out to be a bargain.
