PUBG Season 8 Update Notes: Sanhok Reviewed, New Loot Now Online

The main feature of Update 8.1 is, of course, Sanhok, which has been absolutely repainted to look better, paint better and offer a more balanced game. We looked for Sanhok to feel more like a forgotten, plant-covered paradise as we resolved some of the obvious, maximum balance disorders found in recent years. We are delighted with what we have created and hope you are too. Read below some excerpts from what we’ve replaced in some of the island’s top living spaces.

Training camp

Bootcamp has been completely reworked. We seek to keep this position warm, while the feeling and competition collide in the area. There is a lot of visibility for long-range matches, but also a lot of politics for players to advance on their opponents. There are also underground spaces for competitive melee combat. Overall, we believe the settings have amplified the threat-to-praise gameplay that players need from a hot fall, while giving everyone more features to better deal with other situations.

Career

The old edition of Quarry was a beloved but extraordinarily unbalanced experience. We’ve worked hard here to make this exclusive position fun and only for those who are there. Stone blocks are now larger to offer greater coverage against parties in conflict with high ground, and we’ve added dangerous rope bridges to give players more features to cross without having to go over or around. Overall, Quarry will now be a significant destination for players who need long fights and unconventional commitments.

Airfield (formerly Mongnai)

We’ve repositioned the agricultural leader in the Northeast with a new airfield. The farm never received the attention we expected, so we added incentives for players to settle on this component of the island. The biggest incentive is that the aerodrome, perhaps unsurprisingly, now has the possibility of giving birth to the Glider Engine. This is the only position you can place it in Sanhok, so take a can of fuel and fly!

Escape (formerly Docks)

The old docks were fun, but low in the loot department, especially for a fall until now. Our replacement is the Escapade, a beach hotel full of loot designed to separate tourists from their money. With poolside bars, a boardwalk, Sanhok’s first dance club, there’s plenty of neon fog to do. Don’t let that distract you from the explanation of why you’re here.

Remains

While the design of the ruins itself has been highly controversial, the spaces around it were a serious disadvantage for anyone who came out without the right equipment. We have redesigned this domain to make the ruins the massive, labyrinthine and fatal fate it deserves, with plenty of loot for those who are willing to plunder their treasures.

Mountain

The mountainous region of Sanhok actually contributes to topographic diversity, however, as far as the game’s genuine implications are, there were a number of disorders here. Players trapped here as they approached the blue zone ended up with few features, one of which had to jump and expect the most productive: some of you were probably there. The other is the merit of the top floor with little or no counterplay for those trapped underneath. With those concepts in mind, we’ve added more tactics to achieve this, adding training features to help the team protect against height.

The Cave

We redesigned the cave to have the fiction that we all have that. You can still feel emotions thanks to PUBG’s scariest vertical drop, but now there’s a cool underground temple waiting for you to explore it if you fall.

River

Our main goal with the river is to give players more functions to cross it. The original Sanhok had very few places to cross without diving directly into the water, so we added more bridges to cross, more policies on some existing bridges and more policies on the banks of the river if the firefighting opened there.

Pai Nan / Khao / Sahmee / Kampong

All of these cities have been reworked, adding verticality, attractive things to explore, new tactics to fight and, most importantly, wonderful battlefields for the new loot truck that traverses each and every city. In some cases, the adjustments are minor, such as the undeniable road-fitting so the truck can move to larger times to create more attractive combat media.

Bhan

Although it was a cool place, Bhan was underused and it was a nuisance to loot. We got rid of Bhan and replaced it with a general set of houses so we can focus on those resources for exclusive places elsewhere. Due to the more simplified and familiar design of the building, this domain now deserves to be a more defensible position to loot and control.

The Loot Truck is a new feature of the logo that gives players an additional, if risky, way to prepare. Trucks appear in one of the island’s many garages and drive on the roads, causing players to attack them. As those trucks suffer damage, they will drop the loot and continue on their way. Players persistent enough to destroy the truck will be rewarded with an even larger stash of weapons and gadgets for you and your team. Be careful when attacking those rolling monsters, however, they can suffer a lot of damage and this will attract attention.
