LONDON (Reuters) – Production at the Peugeot PSA (PEUP.PA) car plant in Britain will resume on 17 August, one of the country’s last primary plants to reopen after the coronavirus outbreak closed in March.
More than one hundred protective measures are being implemented to prevent the spread of the virus, adding temperature verification and dresses with glasses or glasses, PSA said.
The port of Ellesmere in the north of England last year built just under 62,000 Vauxhall/Opel Astra cars and staff expects a resolution on whether new investments will be made to keep the facility open, depending on the final results of the Brexit.
