The 2023 Suzuki Ignis city car lineup won a flagship edition of Shadow, priced at $27,990 in one car.
The Ignis is Suzuki-style to get the Shadow black edition treatment, after the recently discontinued Baleno hatch.
Unlike the Baleno, the Ignis Shadow will be a permanent member of the lineup, priced at $1500 more than the GLX variant it’s based on.
Drive understands that the Ignis Shadow is expected to be followed later this year through the Swift Shadow and Vitara Shadow models, with the main points to be displayed closer to arrivals in the showroom.
Compared to the GLX, the Ignis Shadow gains black external decals and a black rear roof spoiler. It is available in all paint colors featured on the Ignis GLX, with the exception of the Super Black Pearl.
As previously reported via Drive, the Suzuki Ignis GL and GLX saw an increase of $1,000 before transit fares, or $1,500 in the car, starting September 7, 2022.
The latest in a series of worthwhile developments in recent years has noted that the base RSO of Suzuki Ignis increased up to $5500, before on-highway prices, for 4 years with little to no additional features added.

Standard features of the base Ignis GL come with 15-inch metal wheels with hubcaps, a 7. 0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite navigation and Bluetooth, a rearview camera, 4 speakers, cloth seats, climate and strength mirrors, windows and locks.
However, no model of Ignis, one of the last new cars on sale in Australia today without the generation that is widely sought, does not have complex protection features, such as autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping or blind spot tracking. as the minimum naked through maximum rivals.
