President Trump is informed of Hurricane Isaiah and coronavirus, its scale in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. – President Donald Trump visits Tampa Bay on Friday as the state vigorously monitors Hurricane Isaiah.

The president had planned a full weekend of crusade events, but canceled some because of the risk of Isaiah reaching The East Coast of Florida.

President Trump arrived at Tampa International Airport around the afternoon. and then participated in a cross coalition occasion with the Florida state marshals.

After this event, the president visited the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair for a roundtable discussion on COVID-19 reaction and typhoon preparation.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Friday that he would sign for Trump at the roundtable and ask him to enlarge the National Guard reaction in Florida, which is expected to expire in a few days.

“The guard played an important role in reacting to COVID and obviously plays a vital role in reacting to hurricanes,” DeSantis said. “It’s going to expire in a few days and it’s going to put us in a complicated position as we keep moving forward.”

After the roundtable, Trump is scheduled for a fundraising committee dinner at 6 p.m., which is closed to the media.

Trump had planned to travel to South Florida for a once Saturday at his Trump National Doral Miami golf resort, but that was canceled due to Hurricane Isaiah.
