Prime Point, a 100,000-square-foot warehouse developed speculatively, has been completely leased to Benross Marketing, a wholesaler of gardening equipment, gifts and equipment.

The 97,242 square foot construction was put on the market through Asset Manager Prime Property Consultancy on behalf of personal clients, with Matthews-Goodman and CBRE as leasing agents. A 15-year lease was signed for construction.

Baber Majid, Managing Director of Prime, said: “The combination of a new high-quality storage area with simple to local and domestic road networks and two foreign airports has made Prime Point a very exciting proposition for any company with global ambition and operations.

“It’s great to conclude the agreement in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Located on Goodlass Road in Speke, Prime Point is easily available from the M57, M56 and M6 motorways. Companies founded in the region come with Jaguar Land Rover and Littlewoods Home Shopping, as well as stores such as Matalan, DW Sports and Asda. It is also close to New Mersey Retail Park and Estuary Commerce Park.

“Securing Benross Marketing as a tenant, before the practical final touch of the building, reinforces the fact that the professional call in the advertising sector remains physically powerful despite the difficult economic situation that exists,” prime advertising director Imran Younus added.

“The corporate matched our ideal tenant profile and the total process went smoothly, despite all the demanding operational situations related to the pandemic facing the country.”

Steve Brittle and David Newman were M-G agents, along with Darren Hill and Paul Cook at CBRE. Emma Nimmo and Nick Nyunt of Kuits on the lease.
