Porsche Centre Mayfair the first Porsche studio in Britain

On Monday, August 10, the Porsche Center Mayfair opened its doors from a specially designed new home. The Centre remains in the centre of Mayfair and is a series of firsts for Porsche in Britain: the first Porsche Studio and the first Porsche Design store to be located in a Porsche centre.

A short distance from the old Berkeley Square front, home of the Porsche Centre Mayfair since 2006, the new 795 square metre centre is located on Clarges Street, next to Piccadilly. London, one of the few cities in the world where culture and innovation also flourish and in the best harmony, offers the best backdrop for a futuristic showroom concept: a new area that goes beyond the classic showroom format by providing a wide diversity of revelry. Features come with a coffee area in the basement, while an LED wall and interactive displays decorate the process of setting up and delighting the visitor.

This sensitive combination of classic features with cutting-edge concepts backed by the newest technologies, typical of Porsche, reflects the position of the relocated Porsche Center Mayfair as a Porsche studio. This makes it Porsche’s eleventh study worldwide and a cornerstone of the sports car manufacturer’s Future Retail strategy.

The immediate landscape of the centre is home to London’s largest concentration of 5-star hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants and some of the world’s best-known grocery shopping directions. The new Centre is rightly the first in Britain to offer a Porsche Design store in addition to knightsbridge’s independent store.

Porsche Retail Group will continue to operate the Porsche Center Mayfair in the new location. Adam Flint, CEO of Porsche Retail Group, commented:

“We are very proud of the new Porsche Center Mayfair, as it represents a vital first for our market. The final touch of such a complex project, especially in a year that has presented so many global challenges, is a testament to the determination and harsh paintings Greg Hardy-Smith and his team are incredibly excited to establish themselves and offer a new point of delight from Porsche to our customers, many of whom were our first days at Berkeley Square.

“We are pleased to say that we will only move our entire existing team to the new site, but they will be joined through new positions created through our expanded business, such as the Porsche Design store.”
