Two of the three young men killed when the car they were travelling in was crashing into a tree have been identified by police.
West Midlands police have shown that 21-year-old driving force Joshua Parkes and 16-year-old rear passenger Lucy Tibbetts were killed in the Kingswinford incident near Dudley on Tuesday night.
The circle of relatives of another 16-year-old woman killed in the accident does not need her call released at this level and has called for her privacy to be respected, police said.
They were part of an organization of five in a yellow Skoda Fabia that crashed on Bromley Lane around 20:50.
An air ambulance, intensive care car, 3 paramedics, an emergency physician and six ambulances were sent to the site after being alerted by police.
The dead were reported dead at the site, while two others wounded in the collision, an 18-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl remain in the hospital.
Police said the guy’s in critical condition and the woguy’s in solid state.
Everyone’s families have been informed.
PC Chris Ridge of the Collision Investigation Unit said: “This is a devastating time for the families of those involved, and we have specially trained officials who help them at this difficult time.
“The loss of these young lives is shocking and deeply provocative for everyone involved. All families should see their privacy respectable at this difficult time.
“We’re still running a series of lines of research to verify what happened and why.
“Anyone who saw the Skoda driving in the domain last night, or who might have captured something in the camera images on board, should touch us as soon as possible. “
A spokeswoman for the West Midlands ambulance service said the first appeal at the site came 3 minutes after the call.
The spokeswoman said: “Teams arrived at the site to notice that a car had crashed into a tree, with patients involved.
“Unfortunately, it has soon become transparent that nothing can be done to save the driving force of the car, a man, and declared himself dead at the scene. “
“Despite the efforts of the staff, two teenage women who were in the back of the vehicle were also shown dead at the site.
“The front seat passenger, a teenager, was treated for life-threatening injuries at the site before being transported with blue lights and sirens to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Major Trauma Center for additional treatment.
‘The last passenger in the back seat, a teenager, was treated for life-threatening injuries and also transported on blue lamps and sirens to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for additional treatment.
“Our mind is with everyone’s families right now. “
