Police identify two other people suspected of being involved in a fatal hit-and-run

LAS CRUCES – The police are in favor of a woguy and a guy believed to be the occupants of the vehicle that hit and killed a guy in Las Cruces on Monday night.

Heather Mariah Grace Funk, 40, and Earnest Thomas Fudge, 34, were allegedly at the 2010 Volkswagen Passat that hit two pedestrians near the intersection of Espina Street and Arizona Avenue. Funk and Fudge have arrest warrants.

The agents arrived at the site of the destination turn at approximately 20:00 hours on September 21 to locate Jaime Valenciano, 43, who died. A 60-year-old man in critical condition and eventually transferred to el Paso University Medical Center.

Investigators walked in combination and crossed Espina Street in a westerly direction when they were hit by the Volkswagen heading south through Espina. The VW fled the area.

Police said police had located the VW later that night and reported that he had injured consistent with his involvement in the hit-and-run.

Investigators received a court order against the VW and discovered documents belonging to Funk and Fudge the car.
