Police ID man killed in overnight Clermont County motorcycle crash into a guardrail

Police said a 25-year-old man from Blanchester, Ohio, died overnight in a motorcycle crash involving no other vehicles in Clermont County.

Matthew Binegar was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at about 2:30 a.m. Monday on Taylor Pike near Mathon Edenton Road, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol release.

A 1999 Honda Shadow driven by Binegar traveled off the left side of the road, overturned, and struck a guardrail, according to the release.

Alcohol or drug impairment is suspected to be a factor, according to the release. The crash remains under investigation.

The Clermont County Sheriff’s Department and the Wayne Township EMS and Fire Department assisted with the incident.
