PM Modi visits Kaziranga National Park in Assam and embarks on an elephant and jeep safari

Dispur/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent Saturday morning on an elephant and jeep safari in Kaziranga National Park and the Assam Tiger Reserve amid his busy administrative and political schedule.

Modi reportedly accompanied him through senior forestry officials, adding the park’s director, Sonali Ghosh.

In an X-post post, the prime minister wrote: “This morning I am in Kaziranga National Park in Assam. Nestled amidst lush greenery, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is blessed with varied flora and fauna, in addition to the majestic horned rhino.

“Feed Lakhimai, Pradyumna and Phoolmai with sugar cane. Kaziranga is known for its rhinos, but there are also a large number of elephants, as well as several other species,” the Prime Minister added.

Modi, who has introduced his Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) crusade, is expected to inaugurate several central and state-run projects in Assam, across the saffron field.

The Prime Minister will speak at a public meeting.
