J. — Authorities launched a coordinated search operation on the Sourland Mountain preserve Thursday following a Princeton police report of a man missing, according to Hillsborough police Sgt. The incident was reported to Mount Lebanon police at 2:30 p. m. , following a request for social assistance. a 43-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl.
At 7:18 p. m. , investigators showed the location of the woman’s vehicle to Diana Grove in South Park. Officers dispatched to the scene discovered the bodies of the woman and child inside the vehicle.
While initial reports do not indicate obvious symptoms of trauma for the victims, the Allegheny County Homicide Unit is awaiting more details from the medical examiner’s office to the cause and manner of death.
The ongoing investigation so far has led detectives that there was no imminent risk to the public.

SALISBURY, MD — The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a murder that occurred Thursday. The incident took place around 12:30 p. m. in the 900 block of Mineola Avenue, in Salisbury, Wicomico County. The victim known as Brookes Lamar Dashiell, 36.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting and discovered Dashiell sitting on the driver’s side of his vehicle, suffering gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to the Tidal Health emergency room, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The Criminal Investigation Division has taken over the investigation.
