Pedestrian hit in Canterbury

A has been seriously injured after being hit by a motorcycle in south-west Sydney today.

At approximately 10 a.m. (Sunday, August 23, 2020), Charles Street in Canterbury was called as an emergency after a 32-year-old woman was hit by a BMW motorcycle.

She treated the site through paramedics before being taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where she remains in a serious but solid condition.

The cyclist, a 31-year-old man, injured his ankle and was also transferred to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for repair and mandatory testing.

Officers from the Metropolitan Accident Investigation Unit came to the scene and opened an investigation into the accident cases.

Investigators ask who witnessed the incident or who has the vision of a dashboard camera.
