PaxPower builds a 758 HP Ford F-150 Raptor V8 with tray

Ford sells the F-150 Raptor 2020 in supercab and SuperCrew frame styles, either with an EcoBoost V6 engine, leaving corporations on the secondary market with the ability to meet the demands of faster visitors.

PaxPower, founded in Texas, is a company that enjoys transforming F-150 Raptors, or F-150 for that matter, into Raptors with V8 engine, for example. For his newest project, however, the customer’s request was a little more accurate.

An Oregon visitor asked PaxPower to build him a Raptor V8 conversion supercharged with a working dish, which is probably the first time the names Raptor and dish have been used in combination in a sentence. As a corporate owner of a structure, the visitor had owned many F350 and F450 platform trucks in the past, but was looking for something “lighter, faster, more efficient and, more importantly, more fun”.

PaxPower was given to paint a fully loaded F-150 Lariat 2020 with a 5. 0-litre V8 engine as a starting point. The company then finished its same old OEM conversion of the Raptor, which consists of cutting the entire frame and suspension and replacing it. them with original Raptor panels and pieces.

The 395-horsepower V8 also changed a lot with a 2. 9 L Whipple compressor and a Borla double exhaust formula for a high power of 758 horsepower. And so we got to the platform, which had to be custom made because there is nothing commercial to be had for trucks with part a ton of 5. 5 feet (1676 mm) like the F-150.

To build one, PaxPower collaborated with high-end trailer manufacturer TurnKey Industries. La platform is made of lightweight aluminum, has a functional loading floor and a traditional wide frame to fit Raptor’s crammed wings, and features a functional ceiling gallery as outside -LED road lighting.

The platform has a loading floor approximately 6 feet (1829 mm) long and a spring frame on the front supports to allow bending while driving off the road. To mimic the front of the Raptor, the traditional aluminum rear widens dramatically and elements such as accessory lighting, blind spot tracking sensors, a rear camera and serial intermittent brake lights such as those of the Mustang.

A traditional rear bumper that echoes the front bumper design is also present, holding the rear parking sensors and trailer connector. The Flatbed Raptor also comes with a traditional box/tank combination to bring 90 gallons (340 liters) of diesel fuel, equipment and an air compressor on site. However, for projects, the lightweight platform can also be installed for welders, snowmobiles or campers.

The cost of a traditional allocation like this is approximately $110,000, the fundamental F-150 5. 0.
