A member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club ignored lawmakers’ attempts to arrest him as he accelerated more than a hundred miles per hour on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
But Robert Patrick Wilson, 31, of Ocala, was eventually arrested after his motorcycle ran out of gas, the sheriff’s workplace said.
“If you’re going to flee the FCSO, you need to make sure you have a full tank of gas,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said in a news release.
Wilson was charged with two counts of fleeing and escaping without regard for the protection of other people or property and won seven traffic citations in the incident, he said. He was being held at the Flagler County Jail on $30,000 bail after his arrest around 12:40 p. m. m. Saturday.
At the time of the arrest, Wilson was on bond for an annoying assault rate in Marion County, according to the release.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office also seized Wilson’s 2009 Harley-Davidson and will initiate forfeiture proceedings opposing it, he said.

The Outlaws Motorcycle Club is included in the Justice Department’s data on motorcycle gangs that the branch describes as organizations whose members interact with violent crime and arms and drug trafficking.
The sheriff’s workplace alerted early Saturday morning about a motorcyclist heading north on the U. S. 1 after fleeing the Ormond Beach Police Department, according to the release. Ormond Beach police said the motorcyclist was wearing a black helmet and an Outlaws Motorcycle Club vest, according to an affidavit. .
An assistant saw Wilson heading north on his motorcycle on U. S. 1 near Belle Terre Parkway, driving recklessly, according to the release. Tasa said. The MP did not pursue yet continued practicing the motorcycle, according to the statement.
Another officer saw Wilson on State Road one hundred west of Bunnell. Lawmakers estimate that Wilson was traveling between 70 and 120 mph, according to The Array. Wilson ignored the officer’s attempt to avoid traffic, he said.
Lawmakers also said Wilson gave the impression of throwing pieces of his wallet while driving, according to the statement. A motorcycle officer said an unknown substance crashed into the windshield of the patrol vehicle, according to an affidavit. The ingredients were not located, according to the affidavit.
The officer later said the motorcycle “struggled to accelerate and gave the impression of slowing down,” the affidavit says.
Wilson arrested after his motorcycle ran out of fuel on State Road near Shell Bluff Road, according to the statement.
