After the arrival of its midsize Lyriq model, Cadillac plans to launch a smaller vehicle. Called the Optiq, our contacts at GM have shown that it’s targeting the Canadian market and may only come with all-wheel drive and various battery options.
This last couple of main points comes from the specifications found for Optiq in overseas markets; We hope that at least the biggest battery will make it to this side of the pond. According to reports abroad, some regions will have the option to choose between a 68. 4 kWh or 79. 7 kWh battery depending on the edition and number of equipments. In terms of features and content, the electric Caddy featured a 33-inch curved display in its cabin, a jumbotron that will likely share a lot with a screen of the same size on other Cadillac models like the XT4.
