Cazoo, the fast-growing online car retailer (September 1) opened its first visitor centre in Manchester.
Located at 778 Chester Road, Stretford, it was selected as one of the landmarks for a Cazoo visitor centre, as it plans to open 15 more locations across the UK until the end of the year.
The new centre has created more than 20 vehicle technician and visitor service jobs, and more positions will be held in the Northwest as more centers open in the coming months, representing an investment of nearly one million pounds.
Although Cazoo remains an online-only retailer, as one of the UK’s fastest-developing e-commerce companies, those sites are a key component of its distribution and garage infrastructure and offer its consumers a local pickup option and service facilities.
Customers will be able to browse cars for sale online at the Visitor Center with fully online shopping.
Consumers of Cazoo in manchester and its surroundings will now have the possibility to pick up their car at the visitor’s centre or deliver it to their doorstep.
Both features come with an in-depth custom presentation of your Cazoo car through a qualified moving specialist and the new site also comes with a means of service to take to Automobilee all the technical and maintenance wishes of Cazoo customers.
Cazoo, who made his call this year by signing a uniform sponsorship agreement with Everton FC, owns and repackages all of his cars before putting them up for sale on its website.
With thousands of cars available at any time, they are centrally stored and can be delivered anywhere in the continental UK or to be picked up at a local visitor centre in just 72 hours.
Each Cazoo car comes with a seven-day full refund guarantee and a full 90-day warranty.
Launched last year, Cazoo is a pioneer in the switch to buying cars online in the UK and already sells thousands of cars a month to consumers across the UK.
Since its launch, the company says consumers seem to be embracing the transparency and convenience of buying used cars completely online and that the deployment of their local visitor centers will further enhance the scoop offering.
Retail director Neil Smith said: “We were very pleased with the overwhelming reaction of consumers to our online car acquisition proposal.
“With our increasing number of sales, our new visitor centers will give our consumers more possible choices about how they should get their Cazoo car and allow us to provide them with better service through our own service centers.
“We are excited to open in Manchester as we reinvent the pleasure of car shopping and continue our mission: to offer greater selection, transparency, convenience and peace of mind to used car buyers across the UK.”
