Sam Fender hit Piers Morgan back at his sold-out distance social concert, and thousands of Geordies enjoyed it.
Gosforth Park is now the UK’s first socially remote concert at Virgin Money Unity Arena, with local boy Sam starting the party with the first of his two sold-out exhibits on Tuesday night.
On Tuesday, another 2500 people flocked to see Sam in action during the first of the two shows, and each of them was curious to see how this would compare to the concerts we took for granted before the coronavirus arrived.
But the eternal cynic Piers didn’t seem inspired when he retwed a video he had noticed of the performance, saying, “Taaaaan weird.”
Taking the level of his show at the time with sold-out tickets, Geordie’s star said, “The Geordies are making history here, I hear Piers Morgan has something to say about it.”
The mention of Good Morning Britain’s host and former Mirror editor received thousands of mocking geodes.

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, another 3 million people have been forced to use universal credit.
The loss of jobs, wage cuts and the closure of grocery shopping streets at the height of the pandemic are among a myriad of points that force others to make a profit.
Universal credit, which was first tested in the Northeast, combines six benefits into one, can also be obtained as a supplement to their salary or as a source of income per month for those who cannot cover their expenses.
But what other help can you ask once you’re in the new six-in-one to get benefits and how can you get extra help?

Northumberland County Council Leader Peter Jackson clings to his charge with a thread after two members of the closet resigned in protest at an outrage opposed to the authorities.
Councillors Wayne Daley, deputy chief and head of Children’s Services, and Veronica Jones, guilty of health, filed their resignations Wednesday in reaction to a crisis on the board’s most sensitive ones he revealed through ChronicleLive.
It is understood that the two members of the cupboard resigned after crisis talks between advisers on Wednesday afternoon in which Jackson’s personal rebuttals to the accusations opposed to him were enough to satisfy a component of his own team.
Mr. Jackson now has the very genuine prospect of a vote of distrust in his leadership after a week of confusion in his administration.

Bournemouth will be offered for goals from Newcastle United, Callum Wilson and Joshua King; however, new coach Jason Tindall has trusted that there will be no “fire sale” at Vitalty Stadium.
One of Newcastle’s priorities is to recruit a new striker and Steve Bruce, who naturally values the Premier League experience, is an admirer of Wilson and King.
The pair are among Bournemouth’s valuable assets and Tindall faces a war to support their internationals after succeeding Eddie Howe as club manager last week.
