A Northeast car dealership has announced an investment of 750,000 euros in its long-term growth.

Wingrove Motor Company, which has offices in Silverlink, Newcastle, Cramlington and Ashington, operates the official northeast franchises of the Citroen, Peugeot and DS brands.

The family circle organization has invested 750K euros in the renovation of its Silverlink dealership, adding the Peugeot franchise to the site as well as new electric charging stations.

The investment occurs when the company celebrates its 95th anniversary of the listing.

Josh Parker, Managing Director of Wingrove, said: “Our anniversary celebrations are less vital than we originally planned, however, although this year has obviously been tricky for everyone, the company remains in an intelligent way and we are confident that we will continue to grow in the years leading up to our centenary.

“The enduring quality of our staff and the service they provide have been the key to our success, and in addition to having five generations of family members involved in the business, we also have local families who have been consumers for the same time.

“Our industry has noticed adjustments in our lives, especially in recent years. We started offering electric cars very soon after their availability, we have exhibited more than a dozen other electric/rechargeable hybrid cars and are able to capitalize on long-term expansion. in this market domain.

“The Silverlink dealership renovation is indeed impressive and we are very pleased with the prospect that, along with our newly renovated West Road site, they will help us achieve our expansion plans.”
