North Huntingdon to review Kenny Ross Mazda’s plans

North Huntingdon is expected to review plans Monday for a new Kenny Ross Mazda dealership, between the Kenny Ross Subaru and the existing Mazda dealership along Highway 30.

Kenny Ross Automotive Group is proposing to build a one-story construction on the site of a gravel lot where cars are parked between the two dealerships, said Carley Painter, marketing director of the automotive group.Construction will space sales, service and departments, Painter said.

The Municipality Planning Commission is scheduled to review the plan at its meeting, which begins at 7 p.m.Monday at North Huntingdon City Council, 11279 Center Highway.

Kenny Ross needs to begin the assignment structure as soon as he gets all the government’s permits, said Painter, who hopes the assignment will take between nine months and a year.

The existing Mazda dealer, on the site of the former Hamilton Subaru dealership, will be reused for some other purpose, Painter said.

A plan review on the plan-making commission’s schedule earlier this month, but continued through Monday.
