TOKYO (AP) — Nissan Motor Co saw its operating profit fall 99 percent for the year from April to June as a lack of hybrid offerings in the critical U. S. market hurt sales.
The group’s operating profit was 995 million yen ($6. 4 million) for the quarter, according to filings announced Thursday. The automaker also revised its profit expansion forecast for the full fiscal year ending in March, now forecasting a 12% decline to 500 billion yen.
