As if North American families didn’t have enough scandal (looking at you, national leaders) in their lives to cause friction at the dinner table, now they have to contend with the whole Bronco vs. Jeep thing, too.
The recently dropped all-new Ford Bronco has been inadvertently stirring the pot on online Jeep fan pages, where some commenters have dared to bring it up, some even saying they like it. A recent ADAC report (such as CAA for the EU) put THE EV force indicators in the explosion to be accurate. In 15 electric cars with 22 kilowatt chargers, the organization concluded that the maximum electric cars were timid about the amount of charge they needed.
In the case of the Long Range Tesla Model 3, the worst example, the study found a whopping 25 per cent more juice was required than stated by the onboard computers. On the other end of the scale, the most honest EV was the Kia e-Niro, which was only off in its power-required prediction by 10 per cent. An Alberta man who was born legally blind but recently underwent an experimental procedure that rendered him able to see clearly for the first time in his life is celebrating from behind the wheel of his brand-new Corvette.
Mike Schickerowski suffered from nystagmus, a condition that caused his brain to visually interpret moving objects as blurry. After 44 years of dealing with it, Schickerowski got on with an experimental trial in California, which ended up correcting his vision. Following the procedure and before he’d even earned his driver’s license (which he now has) he went and picked himself up a Racing Yellow Chevrolet Corvette.
“Some people said, ‘Oh, it’s Alberta, you need a truck,’” he says, “and, sure, I like trucks – they’re nice – but everybody’s got a truck.”

Ever wondered what your favourite car YouTuber or Instagrammer is earning for their posts? A new ‘Rich List’ by comparison site GoCompare takes a calculated guess at how much digital celebs like Colin Furze (@realcolinfurze), Alex Hirschi (@supercarblondie), Jay Leno and more are raking in for reviews, partnerships and sponsored posts.
Topping the list is Hirschi, who, according to the list, makes an average of around $34,000 per Instagram post and an annual income of US$1,406,440. The second-place influencer makes less than half that—find out who that is right here.
Hyundai has released a new air ventilation system just in time to tap into perhaps the most heightened fears over air quality in the history of mankind. The new system’s ‘After-Blow’ feature dries condensate to prevent mold growth within the pipes, and its ‘Multi-Air-Mode’ creates wafts of air conditioning and heat from extra ports, including in the seat, rather than full-on gale-force blasts of air from dash-mounted vents straight into your face.
Oh, and, finally, the ‘Fine Dust Indicator’ measures the amount of particulate in the air, presenting findings to passengers digitally and, if the air isn’t clean enough, activating an air-cleaning mode that further purifies the air in the vehicle.
