Weidinger selected to charter the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association at the national festival – one of 48 auto dealers nominated for the 54th annual award out of more than 16,000 nationally.
“My father and grandfather worked hard to identify our reputation in our market, and I am committed to continuing that legacy by investing in our employees, services and communities,” Weidinger said.

“I learned how to run the business, how to collaborate with the team and I had a lot of ups and downs managing this new business,” he said.
In 2002, the organization sold Infiniti, took over Hummer and built a new Cadillac Hummer store, and Weidinger named the lead runner at both locations in 2008. Weidinger added Buick and GMC in 2010 and in 2017 named a Land Rover franchisee. Today, he oversees North Bay Cadillac and North Bay Buick GMC in Great Neck and Jaguar Land Rover Freeport in Freeport, New York.
“Growing up at the dealership, I painted a lot to earn the respect of my colleagues, some of whom still paint for us,” he said. “As the most powerful consultant in my life, my father taught me the price of being worried. “deeply about the well-being and good fortune of our dealership employees. “
With such deep roots in auto retail on Long Island, Weidinger has been a member of the board of trustees of the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association since 2014 and is most recently vice chairman of the board.

“Every year, our dealership staff volunteers to create Thanksgiving baskets, prepare food and collect food for Thanksgiving dinner and basket distribution for the organization, which is helping families in need of the holidays,” Weidinger said.
His team is also a major contributor to the Greater New York Auto Dealers Association’s annual winter coat drive to purchase new coats from Operation Warm, a national nonprofit that makes new coats and shoes for youth in need.
“In the 10 years of involvement of our consumers and staff, we have contributed greatly to the 80,000 coats that have been collected and donated,” he said. “We are collaborating with five charities and local teams to distribute the coats we gather in Nassau. and Suffolk counties. “
Weidinger added, “As a third-generation distributor, the keys to running a successful business and continuing the culture of our family circle are ingrained in me. Our team prides itself on being honest, respectful and attentive to the wishes of everyone who passes by our dealership and we treat everyone as we should be treated. “
