New Jersey Fire Chief Arrested After Video Shows Gravel Bucket Thrown at Rare Car

PISCATAWAY – A firehouse leader is here after video showed a man throwing a bucket of gravel and dust at a rare sports car, parked next door on Piscataway.

Arbor Hose Company’s number one boss, Joshua Scolnick, has been charged with mischief in the third degree, CBS New York reported.

Mark Bahna is the owner of the 1997 Nissan Nismo 270R that broke through the rock mix.

Bahna collects and sells rare Japanese cars.

He says this Nismo style (short for Nissan Motorsports International) is one of only 30 examples ever made.

In the same CBS New York report, Bahna said the car would cost about $10,000 to repair, with cracks in the rear windshield and dents.

He said he thought there was resentment on the part of the fire station over the sump pump discharge — an email to the fire station arrived not without delay on Friday.

The Watchung resident also owns an asset of about an acre next to the fire station, the former Arbor Rescue Squad.

The car parked between the buildings in a surveillance video that Bahna posted on his social media accounts.

Bahna applied for permission in 2022 to use the buildings for a wrestling and weightlifting center with a garage for private vehicles, MyCentralJersey. com reported.

Since then, Yale Street Wrestling Club and Level Up Strength

The car collector also created a stir in 2017, when he submitted $200,000 for the liquor license of the now-defunct Colorado Cafe rural bar and restaurant.

The transaction did not go through because a reserve offer was not fulfilled, TapInto reported.
