PETROLHEAD discovered a deserted supercar dealership with 3 forgotten engines inside, adding an incredibly rare Porsche model.
YouTuber Gordon Cheng, who has 848,000 subscribers on his channel called Effspot, was stunned as he toured the disused showroom that has obviously remained untouched for some time.
In the video, Gordon visits a construction site in an “unfamiliar place” in China that is in disrepair.
He points out that the giant showroom is littered with rubbish, with deserted motorcycles piled up in one corner, while its signs and symptoms (plus a giant Ferrari sign) have begun to fade.
But there are even disturbing examples of buildings beginning to deteriorate, with sections of the wall on the verge of collapsing and even parts of the roof “collapsing. “
While filming the gigantic complex from the outside through the showroom window, Gordon immediately sees a beautiful red Porsche Carrera GT that, apart from a layer of dust on the bonnet, is in the best state of preservation.
The Carrera GT, built with the German logo between 2006 and 2008, is one of the rarest fashionable sports cars in the Porsche lineup, with just over 1,200 models produced in that two-year period.
The impressive engine, which can reach a top speed of 205mph and has a list value of around £1,200,000, comes with matching red wheels and yellow brake calipers, which Gordon says are a “factory” add-on.
Further to the left in the Porsche is a Ferrari 575 Superamerica, an engine that sells for around £400,000 and can reach a top speed of 201mph.
It seems that the Ferrari has the maximum risk of damage inside the building, as the part of the roof just above it seems to be about to fall on it, which is worrying.
Further on, on the other side of the showroom, is a bright yellow Corvette Z06, an engine worth £80,000.
Like the other two cars, the Corvette is in top condition, aside from its four flat and unusable tires.
Together, the 3 supercars cost around £1. 8 million.
In the small part of the video, it seems that the 3 cars are the ones left inside the showroom, with no clear sign that there are others.
In the video, Gordan said, “We have some theories about what’s going on here, but there’s no definitive story, nobody knows what’s going on, other than those 3 cars that were abandoned here. “
He later added, “Obviously, what happened at this specific dealership went extraordinarily wrong.
“It’s been abandoned and rotten for 10 years. “
He speculates that the dealership has suffered “some kind of debt” and that everything has been left “in limbo. “
It comes just days after another YouTuber discovered a deserted car dealership in France, full of forgotten Peugeots.
The adventurer, who goes by the name The Bearded Explorer (TBE), took his YouTube enthusiasts on a tour of the spooky site.
Old engines strewn around the property, some rusting outside.
Then again, a one-of-a-kind Range Rover limousine, which was once used by boxing legend Mike Tyson, is back on the market at a heavily discounted price.
