Motus Group Six car dealership complex goes on sale for £3. 5 million

A car dealership franchise is expected to make a whopping £3. 5million after going on sale online.

The site, on Tritton Road in Lincoln, houses showrooms representing six brands: Vauxhall, Renault, Dacia, Mazda, BYD and Peugeot.

All the dealerships are currently operated by Car Dealer Top 100 group Motus, which has a lease running until September 2035.

The organisation will pay an annual contract of £260,000; This figure is expected to rise to £290,000 from September 2025, before a further review of hiring five years later.

The homes are being sold through Savills Automotive, which described the land as an “attractive investment opportunity”. Agents say they will donate £3. 5 million for the 2. 92-acre facility.

In the brochure, Savills says: “The asset contains five buildings housing the Peugeot, Renault, Dacia, Vauxhall, BYD and Mazda brands.

“It has a very visual front on the busy A1192 Tritton Road, with 18,727 cars passing daily, as well as a large used car display and car park.

“It is leased to Motus Group (UK) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of South Africa’s largest organisation: The Motus Corporation.

“The assets are leased to Motus Group (UK) Limited for a term of 15 years from 28 September 2020, expiring on 27 September 2035.

“The current rent is £260,000 per year, which equates to a net rent of £252,200 per year. The lease is subject to a rent review on 28 September 2025 with a steady increase of £290,000 per annum, or £282,200 net consistent with the year.

“The tenant has the obligation to break on September 28, 2030 with a notice of 6 months. The lease is subject to specifications.
