MANILA, Philippines (AP) — A motorcyclist died Saturday in Quezon City after a shipping truck struck and ran him over, the Quezon City Police District said.
The suspect also known as Rolano Llarena, 59.
However, the towbar came off, causing the cargo truck to back up.
Due to the impact, Cortez fell to the curb and struck the right rear wheel of the same shipping truck.
The said shipping truck continued its momentum, colliding with 4 other cars in the process.
Llarena is now in police custody and is expected to face charges once it is completed.
