MANILA, Philippines (AP) — A motorcyclist died Saturday after being hit by a truck in Tondo, Manila.
Manuel Pepito died at the scene after being ejected from his motorcycle while crossing the southbound lane of Mel Lopez Boulevard, according to the Manila Police District.
Pepito then hit the right rear wheel of an elf truck driven by Eric Madrid.
Madrid has been arrested and will face charges of reckless recklessness in a homicide, police said.
