MotoGP rider Maverick Viñales was forced to jump off his motorcycle at more than two hundred km/h after the brakes were fired

Yamaha Viñales competing in the Styria Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring when their brakes jammed as they approached the first corner.

Upon entering the curve, the Spaniard learned that he had tried to brake but could not slow down, meaning he still had no choice but to jump off his motorcycle than to drive it at full speed through the barriers.

One commentator described it as “the worst thing a cyclist can do.”

He skated across the track as his motorcycle continued to advance through the wall, lighting fire on impact. The race was then marked with the red flag.

When the race resumed, Australian Jack Miller finished second, almost through Miguel Oliveira.

Viñales is also concerned about the terrifying MotoGP incident last week, when a motorcycle flew and nearly picked up him and Valentino Rossi.

In the run-up to the race, Viñales was third in the MotoGP championship Andrea Dovizioso and Fabio Quartararo.
