Doctor about Richie Escalante

Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki Superbike rider Richie Escalante suffered a serious crash caused by a collision with the rider after the end of MotoAmerica Superbike Race 1 at Road Atlanta.

Escalante then woke up and was alert and was able to get away from the site of the twist of fate under his own power. He was evaluated on the track and then transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

CT scans performed at the hospital revealed a fracture of the left wrist and compression fractures of L1, L2 and L4 in the back.

Escalante spent the night at a local hospital, but was released and will return home to Mexico for further evaluation and medical treatment.
