NORTH ANDOVER, MA – More than 1,000 others have signed a petition to install smooth traffic on Highway 114 and Sharpners Pond Road after a user died in a turn of fate at the intersection in July.
Colleen Armstrong, 70, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, died in a three-vehicle accident there on 27 July.

The petition, which has more than 1,200 signatures on Thursday afternoon, calls for smooth traffic to prevent him from long-term injuries in the same place. Currently, there are two prevention symptoms at the intersection of traffic on Sharpners Pond Road.
“This intersection is waiting for another incident like this to happen,” petitioner Isaac Ramos wrote. “A grandson, a sister, a husband and a son/daughter will have to live now without their loved one for the rest of their lives; I can’t believe the pain this circle of family members is going through right now.
“Two years ago, I myself had a twist of the automobile destination at some other damaging crossroads in this city,” wrote Ramos, a resident of the city.
Armstrong’s son Keith and his daughter, Heather, signed the petition and thanked Ramos for creating it.
“The woman killed on July 27 is my mother,” Keith Armstrong wrote. “She is a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. My father is devastated; she’s your total world.
“He comes to me because my mother was the victim of this terrible, pointless accident,” Heather Armstrong wrote. “She was our global and the cement of our circle of relatives. The reckless driving force stole it from us, leaving our circle of relatives at a total loss for the rest of our lives. This void in our hearts will be eternal. This intersection is obviously a traffic hazard. with a necessarily dead prevention signal.”
