Mopar is opening this year’s Special Equipment Markets Association (SEMA) exhibition in Las Vegas with 3 new concept cars that will turn heads and plenty of factory-tested parts and accessories with quality functionality.

Inside the 15,345-square-foot exhibit in the south lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center Show, Nov. 1-4, audiences will revel in the passion, creativity and innovation of Mopar, the iconic 85-year-old functional brand.

“With a focus on electrification, Mopar is in the perfect position for the visitor to fully revel in quality parts and accessories tested and guaranteed at the factory,” said Mark Bosanac, Mopar’s senior vice president of service, spare parts and customer service for North America. The Jeep CJ Surge concept explores a long-term zero-project propulsion formula kit and supports the Jeep brand’s project to become the world’s leading electrified SUV brand. Separately, our Ram 1500 Backcountry X and TRX Gold Shot concepts feature a state-of-the-art Mopar truck. accessories for our award-winning full-size trucks. “

Here is data on the 3 new concept vehicles:

Designed and custom designed to explore an effective battery-electric propulsion formula for traditional Jeep models, the Jeep CJ Surge electromod concept enables Mopar designers and engineers to better understand the potential programs of battery-electric vehicle (BEV) parts kits, leading to a long-term term. Propulsion formula that provides enthusiasts with the construction or conversion of traditional and existing cars and trucks into zero-emission vehicles.

A true Jeep 4×4, the CJ Surge Concept is powered by a traditional powertrain. Under the hood, an upgradeable 400-volt, two-hundred-kW electric drive module is mounted on the frame with strong motor mounts of traditional design. Power to all 4 wheels is provided via 24 lithium-ion battery modules and torque is transmitted via a two-speed Jeep motion box with selectable gears. The battery modules are enclosed in a traditional housing fixed aft of the passenger cabin.

With 35-inch BFGoodrich off-road wheels combined with a 2-inch lift kit, the striking Copper Canyon frame stands out through its gloss black and Surf Blue Surge graphics and side stripes. The concept’s bonnet and bezel are painted in gloss black, as well as the iconic seven-slot Jeep grille.

The CJ Surge Concept is mounted on 18 x nine inch matte black Black Rhino Solid wheels that provide Surf Blue details on the rim heels and roll under the concept’s extra-large fenders. Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) Dana 44 Crate front and rear The axles of the CJ Surge Concept move slowly over rocks and rocks.

A JPP Wrangler JK Rubicon bumper kit carries a JPP Rubicon Warn winch at the front and is flanked on both sides via Surf Blue tow hooks and amber LED fog lights. rock rails. A traditional BEV charging port is located right at the driver’s side door opening.

Looking from the trimmed 2-inch windshield, the driving force and passenger are seated in traditional seats installed with conceptual booster seats. Both seats feature Surf Blue stitching on black silky fabric and houndstooth fabric inserts.

The Wrangler JK’s center console comes with a rotary shift knob, while Mopar’s dash gauges come with a speed indicator to indicate the driving force of the remaining battery life.

The cabin of the CJ Surge concept is surrounded by a custom-made protective cage, while a custom-shaped bikini upper provides valuable shade and protection from the elements. No JPP concept would be complete without an all-season set of Mopar floor mats.

For most interior touches, the traditional steering wheel is adorned with a unique JPP horn pad badge.

Ram 1500 TRX Gold Shot ConceptThe striking Ram 1500 TRX Gold Shot concept transforms the smartest predatory truck in global production trucks into a custom-designed performance toy transporter for motocross enthusiasts.

Built on the 702-horsepower Ram 1500 TRX, the world’s fastest, fastest and toughest pickup truck, the Satin Bitter Yellow/Satin Black concept features oversized TRX graphics and delivers the high-speed capability and durability shown for off-roading. trails in record time.

Custom-designed 18 x 9. 5-inch Vintage Bronze Black Rhino Chamber wheels roll on 37-inch BFGoodrich tires for a performance-inspired look at all 4 corners. Bringing simplicity to a pair of motorcycles on the truck’s platform, a Mopar platform step goes down for simple and, with a slight push, retracts into a neat, secluded position.

Behind the cab, a RamBar accessory bar includes a pair of 14-inch elongated TYRI LED headlights, generating 4300 lumens of exceptionally bright light.

Custom steel protective plates displaying laser-etched Mopar lettering on the front and rear lower spaces of the TRX Gold Shot concept. The use of the front protective plate allows the forward angle to be greater than 2. 3 degrees to 32. 5 degrees. Rock rails also help prevent damage to the side edges.

Just below the rear bumper, a pair of black 5-inch Mopar exhaust tips deliver a sporty, refined look.

The interior of the TRX Gold Shot concept comes directly from the production style of the award-winning Ram 1500 TRX with centre console, tool cluster, flat-bottomed guide steering wheel with prominent shift paddles and fixed floor shift lever on the centre console.

Alaska Gold stitching and details on the interior fit the striking external appearance.

The competitive sports seats are upholstered in Capri leather and interior reinforcements in perforated Alcantara suede. The gold Spinneybeck leather hunting stripes offer an ambitious use of the external contrast colour to match the black front and rear seats. Both front seats feature embroidered TRX logos on the upper rear. Mopar panels and logos on the outer shoulder reinforcement.

A Ram 1500 Tradesman style vinyl floor for quick and easy interior cleaning.

For the truck owner who is serious about combining paint and play, the Ram 1500 Backcountry X Concept leverages the class-exclusive RamBox load control formula with custom-designed RamPack and RamRack features that build a secure area in the garage without compromising the sleeper truck’s capability.

Designed for stylish compatibility and built into either side of the truck body, RamPack’s concept garage compartments, located above the popular RamBox on either side of the box, open through a single panel similar to a carbon fiber hatch. The valuable garage area is expanded by more than 68% (up to 12. 3 cubic feet) with the traditional RamPack system. Custom oblong shelves extend along the giant compartments and a couple of lashing loops provide secure mounting locations. Mopar RamBox vertical container dividers also help keep stored curtains organized.

The tradition of the Ram 1500 Backcountry X RamRack continues with the design study of the telescopic roof rack formula that was first shown in the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman concept at the SEMA Show 2021. The RamRack uses other Thule transverse rails above the case to mount hardware and accessories. TYRI 2-inch LED direction lights are attached to the corner of the RamRack, while a high-mounted center brake light adds a third brake light to the rear crossbar.

On the inner panel of the rear door, a traditional Mopar RamGate workbench insert includes conversion forums and an angle sensor along with a variety of Rockler woodworking equipment.

The Ram 1500 Backcountry X concept is in a 2-inch Mopar lift kit with FOX surprise shock absorbers, 20 x 9-inch matte black fuel heaters and 37-inch BFGoodrich tires. The two-tone Matte Iced Silver Titanium exterior and matte black contrasts orange anodized side stripes and hood accents, tow hooks (front and rear) and grille badge.

At the front, a Mopar tubular grille protector features 4 Mopar 5-inch all-terrain LED lighting fixtures to provide especially advanced front lighting.

The black-painted Mopar tubular steps, located on the two side rails, facilitate access and exit from the enlarged cab. A Mopar rear step uses an articulated arm that lowers for easy access to the truck body and retracts to a garage position.

Inside, the individual neutral green-on-tone seats in the front and rear rows feature contrasting orange stitching found in the cabin on the steering wheel, door panels and armrests. Contrasting orange anodized air controls also provide a custom look and feel. .

The individual front seats feature the custom embroidered logos of Backcountry X and Mopar. Between the front seats, a customized, deployable paint surface with a built-in measurement formula slides out of the comfortable center armrest and provides an additional 12 x 14-inch paint space.

The inner A-pillar handles and the outer C-pillar handles are wrapped in sublime black Gode-Tex vinyl.

The floors have Mopar carpeting for all seasons, while under the second-row bench, a RamVac onboard vacuum concept makes it easy to clean the cabin when returning from the trail or structure site.
