Family runner Mon Motors has expanded its retail network by acquiring seven new showrooms in the West Country.
The South Wales-based company bought the franchise sites from rival Heritage Automotive after agreeing an undisclosed amount with the Car Dealer Top 100 store.
The deal sees Mon Motors acquire Cheltenham Audi, Gloucester Skoda, VW Bristol and VW Weston-Super-Mare, as well as Bristol Skoda, Gloucester Cupra and Bristol Cupra.
The rebrand is already underway and manager Gavin Cleverly has already left to meet new members of staff.
He wrote on LinkedIn: “Following our acquisition of seven Heritage Automotive sites last Friday, it was wonderful to get out and meet the teams this week and I am very happy to have welcomed them all into the Mon Motors family circle.
“It is having met so many positive and enthusiastic people in all places.
“When we finish the week, the sun has come out and the rebranding has already begun. »
As part of the acquisition, Mon Motors will now fill several positions within its new dealerships.
He cleverly asks if he wants to paint on the sites to contact the Mon Motors human resources team.
And he added: “Now we are looking for more colleagues to sign up for the teams. If any of the roles below suit you, please contact us. »
Mon Motors was ranked 79th in our latest list of the hundred smartest car dealers, with an EBITDA figure of £6. 13 million. Heritage Automotive finished in 50th position, having achieved EBITDA of £9. 53 million.
