TOKYO (Reuters) – Former Mitsubishi Motors Corp President Osamu Masuko died of “heart failure” on August 27, Japanese automaker said Monday. He was 71.
Masuko, a veteran of conglomerate Mitsubishi, resigned from his position as president a few weeks ago on fitness grounds. He joined Mitsubishi Motors in 2004 and was president in 2007, and oversaw the creation of the partnership between Mitsubishi and Nissan Motor Co.
