Minnesotans scrambled to visit the state’s online page Wednesday morning in hopes of having the ability to apply online for a rebate on e-bikes worth up to $1,500. But the customers of an attractive reduction turned out to be too wonderful for the generation when the site crashed. a while after its launch at 11 a. m.
The rebate program is still ready, but officials had to close the online application window for the rest of Wednesday as they worked to fix and support the website.
Rebates are designed to reduce the cost of purchasing a new e-bike from an eligible retailer. The legislature has $2 million legal a year in 2024 and 2025 for the program.

The reduction ranges from 50% to 75% of the price of a new e-bike and eligible accessories, such as a helmet, lock, or reflective clothing. The maximum reduction is $1,500. The amount of the reduction in your income.

Once the backup is complete, you will need to provide your name, tactile information, date of birth, social security or identity number of the individual taxpayer, filing prestige for 2023, and source of adjusted gross income for 2023.

If there is cash left for this year’s program after Oct. 1, the branch will give more refunds to those who didn’t get any in the first round. Another era of applications will open in 2025.
