The son and daughter-in-law of Uttar Pradesh Minister Nand Gopal Gupta “Nandi” were injured when their vehicle hit a bulkhead on the Agra-Lucknow highway, police said.
The incident occurred around five in the afternoon. like the couple traveling from Delhi to Lucknow in their Mercedes. After the accident, they were transported to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical College in Tirwa for immediate medical attention.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sansar Singh proved that the couple suffered minor injuries and had since been referred to SGPGI Lucknow. District Magistrate Shubhrant Shukla and Singh inspected the twist of fate site to assess the situation.
