A smart way to help your child if they’re ever worried about a twist of fate is to check their car seat.
The Michigan State Police spouse with United Way to provide families with car seats for their children. They provided the facility and conducted car seat protection checks Thursday at Dave Kring Chevrolet in Petoskey.
State police have encouraged others to get out and out, and those who have already installed a car seat to avoid and let them make sure it is properly installed.
“Many other people who have already signed up to come today according to the schedule. There is a criterion that they will have to meet through United Way. However, we were still looking for those who were in need and we will. “appreciate them and make sure they are taken care of,” said Seventh District Public Information Officer Spl/Lt. Derrick Carrol.
The program is made imaginable through personal and charitable donations.
