Mercedes-Benz World reopens visitors

Mercedes-Benz World has reopened its doors to visitors.

The popular charm of the car in Weybridge, Surrey, has been closed for some time due to the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting restrictions.

However, the experience centre is now open again, operating Friday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

Charlotte Poole, managing director of Mercedes-Benz World, said: “We are very happy to welcome the public back to Mercedes-Benz World. To ensure the protection of our visitors and staff, we have brought a wide variety of protective measures, adding an easy-to-use hand sanitizer, social distance and inspiring others to wear masks. We also won the official “Good to Go” brand of Visit Britain.

“With our wide variety of exhibitions and attractions, Mercedes-Benz World offers the best day for motorsport enthusiasts and the whole family.”

Visitors can get e-book driving reports on the rainy track and the site’s drift circle, or check the 10-acre off-road route. The center also allows visitors to get acquainted with some of the company’s lacheck models on 3 new car floors.

A suspended Mercedes F1 car also gives a whole new view of the cutting edge of motorsport, while those who work in the emergency services, NHS, social care or Armed Forces sector will receive a complimentary simulator ride by showing their Blue Light Card.

To ensure the maintenance of social estrangement measures, a one-way formula has been put in place, while the use of a mask is encouraged. A hand sanitizer will also be available in the building.
