Mercedes-Benz USA reports group sales of 82,623 vehicles in the first quarter of 2024

ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–April 10, 2024–

Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) announced organizational sales* of 66,570 passenger cars in the first quarter of 2024. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz Vans reported sales of 16,053 units in the first quarter of 2024, bringing MBUSA to a total of 82,623 cars for the quarter, up 5% from the same quarter last year.

Top End:

Demand for the Class G building increased by 6% between the first quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2023, with 3,007 units. Sales of the high-performance brand Mercedes-AMG amounted to 10,207 units. Maybach saw growth of 9% up to this quarter to the same quarter last year.

Heart:

The Group’s sales in the Core segment saw a significant increase of 40% between the first quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2023 with 35,330 units, reflecting strong and sustained demand for automobiles in this sector. GLC continues to lead this segment with 8,614 devices in the first quarter of 2024, an increase of 224% over the same quarter last year. Mercedes-Benz’s all-electric EQE also saw a significant increase this quarter of 163% over the first quarter of 2023.

Entrance:

Group sales in the Entry segment reached 8,583 units in the first quarter of 2024. GLB reached 5,566 organizational sales, a 46% increase over the first quarter of 2023.

Vans:

Vans Group sales reached 16,053 units in the first quarter of 2024, a 15% increase over the same quarter last year. In addition to the strong sales expansion in the first quarter, we brought the new eSprinter, the first from Mercedes-Benz USA. U. S. all-electric van in North America.
