McLaren has unveiled plans for a mixed-use skyscraper programme in Leeds city centre.

According to plans submitted to Leeds City Council this week, demolition of the existing buildings would make way for 3 new buildings, along with related infrastructure and underground parking for up to a hundred cars.

The proposal would see the progression of a 45-story hexagonal tower containing 464 houses to be built along 40,000 meters of advertising area spread over two blocks of 14 and 15 floors.

The one-hectare site, bounded by Wellington Street, Lisbon Street and the A58, would also feature a tough, comfortable landscape and open public space.
