McLaren has opened its largest showroom in the world and is expanding its network of racers to more than 100.

The British logo celebrated the opening of its new dealership in Dubai with a special grand opening gala, which welcomed more than two hundred consumers and VIPs.

The site, which McLaren describes as a “hub of core brands,” is the company’s largest independent retailer, covering an area of 950 square meters.

It also built McLaren’s largest committed service centre, which has the capacity to service up to 150 cars per month.

Some of the newest features unveiled at the Dubai facility include a McLaren Special Operations (MSO) studio, where consumers can customise their new cars with more tactics than ever before.

The bosses hope the new facility will become an iconic component of Dubai’s famous nightscape, alongside the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

Among those attending the inaugural event, which also featured the regional launch of the brand’s 750S supercar and Artura hybrid, was Michael Leiters, chief executive of McLaren Automotive.

He said: “I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations to the McLaren Dubai team on the launch of this stunning new showroom.

“As McLaren’s largest market in the region, this launch represents a key milestone for McLaren’s global growth, strengthening our presence in the UAE and editing the visitors’ adventure for McLaren enthusiasts in the UAE.

“I am confident that these impressive amenities will allow us to continue to offer our consumers an unrivalled ownership pleasure that goes beyond the satisfaction of owning one of the best supercars in the world, but also of being part of McLaren’s history in the region. “.
