The sick British supercar manufacturer McLaren has put on sale its headquarters built for this purpose in the hope of putting its blood-red color.
Designed by star architect Norman Foster in Woking, Surrey, McLaren’s campus houses the operations of McLaren Formula One and supercars, home to the McLaren Technology Center and McLaren Production Center.
McLaren Group expects the subsequent lease sale to give it a seasoning of $200 million after being forced to ask investors for refills to remain solvent in the Covid-19 pandemic.
With sales of its supercars falling in 2020, McLaren asked real estate firm Colliers to locate a client for the property, valued at more than two hundred million pounds in McLaren’s recent maximum accounts.
McLaren announced in May that it would eliminate 1,200 of its 4,000 jobs, most commonly in the supercar production program.

“Based on the short-term measures we put in place over the summer, these projects will provide a more powerful balance sheet and that McLaren Group has a sustainable platform for long-term expansion and investment.
The McLaren Tech Center has a 700-seat subsidized restaurant, cafeteria, gym, pool, motorcycle room and uses its classic air-conditioned synthetic lake.
On the plus side, his Formula One team came at one point to break his eight-year drought at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza last weekend, with Carlos Sainz completing the moment and Lando Norris fourth surprise winner Pierre Gasly.
