Max Verstappen’s team offered a coy response when asked about the Formula 1 champion’s links to Aston Martin.
Verstappen has been indomitable in Red Bull, winning the last 4 titles of the driver, however, he has been connected with a very good movement of £ 1 billion to Aston Martin.
On Thursday January), the Daily Mail reported that Aston Martin is informing the sponsors that the Dutch-Kelga will join them.
And the GP blog put this to the Verstappen team, whose response simply “is good”, neither confirms nor rejects the report.
Yet Aston Martin “categorically denied” the story while speaking to Planet F1.
If Verstappen enrolled in Aston Martin, he would keep Adrian Newey, Red Bull’s car designer, to make the movement. Newey left Red Bull in 2024 and will register at Aston Martin in time for the 2025 season, progress of new regulations that enter into force in 2026.
We do not know if Verstappen would enroll in Aston Martin this season or next, but with the first 2025 race that takes position on March 16, and the tests, education and qualifications prior to the season that will arrive before – 2026 would appear more Probably the bar
Aston Martin’s drivers are lately Fernando Alonso, a two-time F1 champion, and Lance Stroll, who is the son of owner Lawrence Stroll.
The younger Stroll’s performances have long underwhelmed, yet he has retained his place at Aston Martin.
Verstappen, 27, associated Sergio Pérez on Red Bull from 2021 to the end of the 2024 season, with Liam Lawson replacing “Czech” in front of the new campaign.
Verstappen reportedly earns £50m per year at Red Bull, whom he joined in 2016 after a spell at their feeder team, Toro Rosso.
