Mass hunt for bus attackers in Jammu and Kashmir

A large-scale search operation is underway to capture the terrorists guilty of the attack on a passenger bus in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, which killed nine other people and wounded 41, officials said.

Teams from the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the National Investigation Agency (SIA) and the Forensic Medical Department went to the scene of the attack to begin their investigation.

On Sunday, terrorists fired on a 53-seater bus carrying pilgrims from Shiv Khori Temple to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine near the village of Teryath in the Pony region. The bus then fell into a deep ravine due to gunfire.

Jammu and Kashmir deputy governor Manoj Sinha on Monday stopped injured passengers at GMC and Narayana hospitals. He said the terror attack is part of a malicious plan to sow chaos in the Jammu region, a plan that will be foiled. The General of Police (DGP), as well as senior officers, as well as army personnel, are expected to stop at the scene to collect first-hand data on the incident.

The Hurriyat Conference condemned the terrorist attack on the bus carrying pilgrims in Reasi district, expressing sadness over the incident. “The Hurriyat Conference has condemned and will condemn all bureaucracy of violence against humanity. The loss of precious human lives is deeply worrying. ” said the organization.
