It might have been the big day of the Maserati MC20 on Wednesday, but the Italian logo had more to share. The automaker not only mocked the upcoming GranTurismo, but also revealed the call of his next small SUV: Grecal.
The next SUV stores its call, pronounced grih-kale, with the northeast wind blowing over the Mediterranean Sea. Aside from the call and segment that Maserati plans to address, we don’t know much else about it. They’ve been lit up for your viewing pleasure, it hides much of the SUV, but it turns out Maserati will opt for an easier circular headlight compared to the lean, angular look of the existing Levante. now, it provides us with some of the early Aston Martin vibes.
As for GranTurismo, it seems a little sexy. The teaser, which we also try to brighten, shows a decidedly sublime and chopped profile, nothing different from the existing model. This same rounder headlight turns out to be provided here as well.
While the Grecale will help Maserati sell more cars in general, the GranTurismo will achieve anything else: it will be the brand’s first all-electric car. eventually you will have an electric powertrain, however, Maserati has shown Roadshow in the past that the GranTurismo will take over. It is not known whether the car will be completely electric in all spaces or whether the company plans to offer an electric battery edition along other power trains.
The MC20 intended to be restarted on the Maserati brand. Now it turns out we have some interesting things to come.
