Maserati will bring its Fuoriserie customization program to North America with the 2022 models, the automaker announced Tuesday in a press release.
The program will offer consumers more customization options. Maserati will also offer three design themes: Corsica, Unica and Futura, which offer the past, the offer and the future as a starting point.
According to Maserati, Corsica is through Maserati’s racing heritage, Unica channels new design trends and Futura is through new technologies and sustainability. Customers can take a survey to see which topic matches their tastes.
Maserati Fuoriserie Customization Program
Maserati has created 3 traditional cars to showcase the program, all in its hardcore Trofeo models. As a reminder, those sportier versions of the Levante SUV and the Ghibli and Quattroporte sedans are supplied with a 3. 8-liter twin-turbo V8 that generates 580 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque.
The Levante Trofeo changed through Fuoriserie features Orange Zest Metallic paint, 22-inch wheels and brake calipers in gloss black. Its interior is made of Pieno Fiore black leather with Contrasting Living Coral stitching and glossy carbon fiber moldings.
The Quattroporte Trofeo and Ghibli Trofeo have 21-inch forged wheels and brake calipers in gloss black, with Royal Metallic Green paint on the Quattroporte and Blu Maserati paint on the Ghibli. The smaller sedan also has graphics inspired by the Maserati Birdcage race car. Both sedans have seats covered with Maserati’s Zegna Pelletessuta, made of woven leather strips like fabric, with glossy carbon-trimmed macro twill.
Maserati Fuoriserie Customization Program
In addition to the Fuoriserie customization program, Maserati recently introduced its Classiche program to authenticate and restore old cars. The automaker is also preparing to upgrade its old lineup.
Maserati recently introduced the MC20 sports car, and will soon do so with the Grecale crossover and a redesigned GranTurismo coupe, the latter with electric and internal combustion powertrains.
