Ertiga is the ultimate compared minivan
Ertiga is the minivan with comfortable hybrid features in gasoline and diesel versions, making it the highest efficiency
Toyota Innova Crysta is the world’s highest strength and torque vehicle
Ertiga’s number of functions is on par with the festival, but leaves its rivals in terms of information and entertainment system.
India’s largest car manufacturer, despite everything, presented the 2018 Maruti Ertiga with costs ranging from 7.44 lakh to Rs 10.90 (old Delhi showroom). It is available in 4 variants and can be used with gasoline or diesel engine. Variations come with LXi/LDi, VXi/VDi, ZXi/ZDi and ZXi. As before, the Ertiga 2018 can also be used with a 4-speed automatic transmission. However, this time it is only available in the VXi and ZXi variants. Now that we know what’s on offer, let’s see how the second-generation Suzuki Ertiga Maruti compares to its rivals.
Size
Longest: Innova Crysta
The widest: Marazzo
Largest: Innova Crysta
Longer wheelbase: Renault Lodgy
As before, the 2018 Maruti Ertiga remains the ultimate compact minivan among the cars accumulated here. With the exception of its height, the Maruti lags behind other minivans in all aspects. However, it remains within the success of greats such as the Mahindra Marazzo and the Toyota Innova Crysta. As far as wheelbase is concerned, the Renault Lodgy remains a separate elegance with 2,810 mm. However, a long battle does not guarantee exceptional interior space.
Engine (diesel)
Most Powerful: Innova Crysta
Torquiest: Innova Crysta
Most effective: Ertiga
Like its predecessor, the 2018 Ertiga, once back, gets the smallest engine in the lot. However, it corresponds to its direct rivals, the BR-V and the Lodgy, in terms of strength and torque. The most sensible 3-hole fight Innova Crysta, Mahindra Marazzo and Renault Lodgy behind each other’s backs. That said, as far as power is concerned, nothing comes close to the Ertiga with its figure claimed through ARAI of 25.47 kmpl.
Engines (petrol)
Most Powerful: Innova Crysta
Torquiest: Innova Crysta
Most effective: Ertiga
As for gas engines, two of their competitors don’t even have the option of a petrol transmission, leaving only the Innova Crysta and the Honda BR-V. Both can simply triumph over the Maruti with their superior strength and torque, but they are far away in terms of power of strength. Armed with SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle through Suzuki) start/stop technology, the fuel power of the Maruti Ertiga is not only greater than that of its gas counterparts, but also some of its diesel derivatives.
Features
Standard security:
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is popularly supplied with two airbags, an ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat holder and seat belt pretensioners. However, Ertiga’s more productive variants do not get more security bonuses, which can be a disadvantage for those looking for a world-class product. That said, it still complies with the existing popular ones and in the superior automatic variants, even enjoying electronic stability and maintenance on slopes. In general, it corresponds to the Renault Lodgy, Mahindra Marazzo and Honda BR-V in terms of the kit offered. Only the Toyota Innova Crysta brings more to the table, adding seven airbags, vehicle stability and slope assist in the superior variants.
Infotainment
All the cars discussed here have a touchscreen infotainment formula in the amazing variants with Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity. But it’s just the Ertiga who gets advantages from Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connectivity, voice and rear parking camera with sensors. Marazzo and BR-V get advantages from Android Auto and MirrorLink connectivity, respectively.
Prices
Maruti Ertiga underestimates each of its competitors by a significant margin. Its nearest rival, the Renault Lodgy, is an exclusive diesel that will be offered at a particularly high price. So, if you’re looking to bring your nuclear circle of relatives on a limited budget but don’t need to skimp on features or style, the Ertiga 2018 will definitely be on your list.
